William Reddin obtained his teaching license from Prince of Wales College in 1917 and taught nature study, agriculture, and general science at PWC from 1933-1942. Many of his students remember him fondly as Botany Bill". In 1932 while teaching part-time Mr. Reddin graduated from St. Dunstan's University (Laval) with a B.A. and was valedictorian of his class. Mr. Reddin was pleased to be able to attend in 60th SDU class reunion and always wore his SDU ring. His fondness and support for Prince of Wales College St. Dustan's University and their successor UPEI is reflected in his wish to establish this scholarship.
