Criteria:
Awarded to students from first, second, third, and fourth years at UPEI and the DVM program at AVC, and based on financial need.

Background:
Beginning in 1977, the UPEI Memorial Bursary fund was created through donations from UPEI faculty, staff, students and various departments, in addition to individuals who contributed money to UPEI in memory of their loved ones. The purpose of the fund is to assist students who are experiencing financial need during their time at UPEI. Today the memorial fund provides numerous bursaries for students who are experiencing financial need.
