Granted to two students in the UPEI music program who have exceptional volunteer records with the Music Society's fundraising events, regularly participate in other Music Society activities, and go above and beyond in contributing to the department community.

Background:
The UPEI Music Society, consisting of students from the UPEI Faculty of Arts music program, sponsors UPEI music ensembles, funds department events, and contributes to the Island music community. These awards were originally established in the 1990's and resurrected in 2015 by the UPEI Music Society. This gift agreement was created in 2020 to ensure that UPEI respects the intent of the Music Society in supporting these awards.
