This award is established at the University of Prince Edward Island by the family of Theresa Zaat Maloney to assist a deserving student pursuing formal musical training and education. This award is established in loving memory of Theresa to celebrate her love for music and the joy she brought to the people around her. The Zaat family conducted numerous concerts to raise funds for this memorial award.
