UPEI Faculty Association - Entrance Scholarships

Criteria:
Awarded to two Island high school students entering UPEI who are in good academic standing with a high average. The scholarship value will cover the first year of tuition based on the student's registration in a full course load (five courses per semester) in the September to April academic year.

Background:
These scholarships are made possible by the UPEI Faculty Association. The UPEI Faculty Association is the bargaining agent for approximately 400 academic staff members at the university. It is a body separate from the University of Prince Edward Island and supports numberous scholarships and awards for UPEI students. These awards and scholarships are funded solely by the UPEI Faculty Association (the donor), separate from the awards and scholarships that are funded by the university itself.
