Tsang Family Scholarship
Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science
Criteria:
Awarded to a full-time student who has successfully completed 30 semester-hours of credit in the first year of Arts or Science and has demonstrated academic excellence, exemplary moral character, and extra-curricular leadership who is not already receiving a major donor-funded award. Candidates must send two references to scholarships@upei.ca from individuals who are familiar with their extracurricular activities and character and are not family members.

Background:
As a token of his appreciation to the people of his adopted country, and to reciprocate the generosity of the people of PEI, this scholarship is established at the University of Prince Edward Island by Mr. Alfred Tsang, Class of 1960, SDU, to commemorate the arrival of the first four Asian students from Hong Kong in 1956 to attend St. Dunstan's University.
