Background:
The Tsang Choi Shin Hang Memorial Bursary is established at the University of Prince Edward Island by Alfred Chun Wai Tsang, an alumnus of St. Dunstan's University, 1960, in loving memory of his mother. Shin Hang (literally, her name means 'genteel natural beauty') was the driving force which led to Alfred's coming to Canada to continue his education. In the 1950's when Hong Kong was still in the third world country" status her sacrifice in sending her son abroad to study will inspire many of us even today.
