In 1980 Colin moved into commercial credit training in Halifax and became manager commercial credit in the Atlantic regional office. In 1990, Colin was appointed by TD's Board of Directors to the position of assistant general manager and then manager of the Fredericton branch in New Brunswick. It was under Colin's leadership that TD Bank became a major force in the Fredericton market. Colin transferred to Ontario in 1992 to assume the role of vice-president and manager of the Guelph Commercial Banking Centre. The last 14 years of Colin's career was spent in Guelph, Ontario where he assumed the leadership role as District Vice President. As a tribute to Colin's commitment to the principles of leadership and 33 years of dedication to TD Bank, TD Canada Trust and the Ontario Central Leadership Team established an endowment fund to support the Colin F.
