Criteria:
Granted annually to a student in their fourth year of the UPEI Foods and Nutrition program who excels academically and has volunteered in the industry or with CAFP.
Background:
Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals (CAFP) is an organization that promotes networking, education, professional development, and community involvement around food and food service. CAFP has student and professional branches across Canada and a national conference has been held every year to bring all of these branches together. In September 2019, the CFAP generously established a new award for UPEI students in the university's food and nutrition program.
