Background:
The Rathlyn Foundation, through its benefactors, has been exceptionally generous to the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI). The Foundation's support has allowed for the continuation of the Chinook Project, one of AVC's most visible activities, and one that has made a real difference to northern Canadian communities. In its desire to contribute to an even greater cohort of AVC students, the Rathlyn Foundation has established the Rathlyn Renewable Scholarships at AVC. These scholarships will hold a place of prestige at the Atlantic Veterinary College, ultimately providing some of the most generous scholarships available. The university is immensely grateful for the support the Foundation provides, and the confidence it has placed in what our students achieve.
