Background:
Toby unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the youthful age of 40. He leaves behind his vet school sweetheart and soul mate, Ailsa, their two adorable and much-adored children, Piper (10) and Brooks (5), a bevy of well-loved animals, and countless friends and family members. In addition to being a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian in Nunda, NY, Toby was an avid horseman who also enjoyed bowling and golfing. He was a 26 year member of the New York Grange and was also a Captain and Owner of the Buffalo Wings flyball team. Above all else, Toby was a devoted family man who cherished time with Ailsa, Piper, and Brooks. We will all remember Toby for his booming and infectious laugh, and big smile. Toby had a great passion for life, for living every moment to the fullest, and showing friendship to everyone that he met along his path. To honour his memory, Toby's classmates at AVC and his family have created this award as a lasting legacy of the impact he made on the world around him.
